About Reiki
Energy is all around us and radiates from all living things. You can't see it, but it is the life force. It's what keeps the body alive and affects physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. It's known as Ki in Japan and is where the name Reiki came from, Ch'i in China and Prana in India. The Iroquois Native Americans call it Orenda.

Ki is also the life force of Mother Earth, the planets, stars, and the heavens and also influences the health of all living beings. This universal life force energy can be drawn in to the body to bring positive results such as calm and relaxation, and can lower stress levels. Reiki helps to relieve pain and encourage healing to those who are sick. For those who are healthy, Reiki helps to maintain an overall well being.
Reiki is an ancient Tibetan hands-on method that encourages healing for the whole spiritual, physical, mental and emotional body. During a treatment, the universal life force energy flows through the Reiki practitioner to the client's body, bringing warmth, calm, comfort, and relief of pain.
Reiki treats people, young and old, strong and weak, tall and short, healthy and ill. It's for all animals, fish, trees, plants, insects, and flowers - anything and everything alive.
Reiki is complementary to, not a substitute for, other therapeutic medical and veterinary techniques such as massage and acupuncture as well as standard medical treatments such as surgery and chemotherapy.
Reiki is good and can do no harm to any living being. Let me introduce you to this wonderful energy to bring peace and quiet
into your life.
